I don't bleev it.

This just means you should treat yourself and your car to a nice set of coilovers and wheels.

Or call Panther or Nu-Brite to fix up your wheels if it bugs you that much.

I'd go for the former over the latter though.

Perhaps we should start a new posting rule - instead of OT for off-topic, perhaps it should be ONT for on-topic...but then again, OT is more fun...where else would you see a chipmonk smoking a bong!

"heavy sigh..."

:P

I pretended I could keep my wheels curb free but managed to do it right around the 2 year mark.

Panthers is the ticket eh? Anyone know how much it costs to remove curb rash and inspect for cracks?

Actually my stock WRX wheels are flawless.. It's the BBS RKs that need repairs and I've already tried to find replacements with no success. The only shops I found who were selling new sets of RKs wouldn't ship them to Canada and now they are all sold.

I called Panther and got an estimated 170 - 220 cdn for 1 wheel. NUBrite said the same thing but couldn't really give a difinitive estimate because they want to do all this testing etc...

Hahaha! That would be such a great burn if it were more true. I 2 good reasons for not going to meets.

The 1st reason is that work keeps me busy. I get so busy with work that I'm either too busy for the meet or I've screwed over something I need to get done for myself and would rather catchup on my personal backlog vs. going to a meet.

The 2nd reason is my age and how many extra digits there are in my age. Most of the meets are at Timmies and right at the same time as Revscene. Other than 2-3 people, I don't know anyone from the Revscene crowd and they are mostly obnoxious little dink teenagers looking to 1-up everyone with the latest LED mod they have done. Then there's the rest of the people I don't know. Haha!

Oh and those are the good reasons.. I have lots of bad ones like:
"I just cleaned the car, I don't want to get face prints all over my windows."
"The car is too messy/dirty to represent the Subarus properly."
"I'm too baked to socialize."
"With the price of gas these days I could leave the car parked and afford to invite everyone over for pizza and beer instead. Then I start thinking of pizza and beer and forget all about the meet."
"If I go to Tim Horton's I'll be tempted to eat doughnuts, and I drive an import not a domestic, so my ass needs to fit in the seat."

and finally:
"My wheels have curb rash and I'm embarassed to show off the fact that I can't parallel park and I'm too poor of a lier to get away with saying I let a friend park the car."

(Hows that for a topic segway??!?)

1. busy 2. age
skier shows up occasionally

so are you saying that if we had a meet somewhere besides with the revscene one, you'd show up? Because you don't

the first subie meet I ever went to, I had bird **** on my front bumper everyone commented on how nice the light reflected off of it
