Default Moving to Grand Junction, Colorado

Hi, I'm Mike. I like long walks on the beach and pizza is my favorite food. Just thought I'd stop in and say hi since I'm moving to Colorado in two weeks.

So does anyone on here live near Grand Junction? Am I going to have the only Sonic Yellow WRX within 100 miles???

It looks like everyone is from SLC or Denver... Lets see... if I hang with the Denver crew I don't have to wear deodorant. But if I hang with the SLC crew I can have a bunch of wives... Hmmm... Wait, more than one wife?! WTF was I thinking!? Yikes! Kidding.

You're probably going to be the only person with a car newer than 1975 within a 100 miles of that town SLC is the place to be. And none of us have multiple wives. Multiple girlfriends maybe but not multiple wives. Welcome to the area.

^^^ That one is just negitive. I love scuba diving, skiing, and snowmobeling. Makeing love after midnight and can not stand pinecolada's. You will love the Grand Juction area. I ride my motorcycle through the area. If you know who Joe Cocker is look up Crawford. You will love driveing the Grand Mesa and the roads around that area. Where are you moveing from? If you ski/snowboard there are tons of resorts in your area. Welcome to the RMIC.
I saw tons of subys in the area in the 2000's so you will not be the only one with a car later than 1975.

I'm moving from Atlanta.

Yes, I travel to Frisco every year to ski, but my life revolves around mountain bikes. I've raced bikes since I was 8 (back in '89).

On a different note:
Just curious, what do all of you think of when you imagine Atlanta??? Rappers? Shootings? Traffic? Gay communities? I really want to know because I'm trying to guess what we're known for. Why would any of you want to visit here?

I'm back at work today, I slept all day yesterday.

The congestion and sinus pressure is gone, but I still have a wicked cough
