Swingers: "This place is dead anyways."

Nobody has questions about aftermarket turbos? I come to work and expect to find some good reading, but alas, nothing.

I might have to go troll somewhere else.

my take:

1. the (fairly) large group of TEC-II users are discussing things almost exclusively on Vishnu's forum

2. those folks and other aftermarket turbo owners are tired of seeing and answering the same questions over & over again from newbies

3. most folks new to the scene with knowledge and seriously intent on heavy mods are starting with the WRX.

The Vishnu forum has been pretty active lately.... I know I've been asking a lot of questions there...

We did have a rather large thread regarding the Haltech and how cool it is (especially at half the price of a TEC-II) last week. That made for some interesting reading.

I'll fill you guys in end of december about my project. I'll still be using my haltech but with a fully built motor , FMIC , 3" DP and exhaust , a custom turbo kit and a custom fuel system . I'll just have to brake in the engine and tune it and the dyno chart will be out for the people to see. Hopefully then the non-believers will believe in the e6k . The only limiting factor however will be the tranny.

When I get approximately about $10,000cad (about $67usd ) I'll let you guys know how my project Beast GC8 goes.

Technik Stage 2 kit, spec'd to what I like
Tec-II, either Vishnu or just a regular Tec-II.
