ok I've got an 02 wrx that the transmission just whent KABLEWIE in. heres the question, can I put the STI trany in the WRX and if so what do I need to put it in?

I guess I miss worded the question there. sorry I have a friend with the STI trans I wanted to know waht other parts I will need for the in stall. I know I will need the sti shifter. Im a full ASE tech. and have moded afew 4G63's in my time so this would be a cake walk(one would think).

Read through that thread, there is a section that lists the parts needed for a 6-speed conversion.

Did you post in your local forum? DO SO NOW!!! There is a lot of smart people in Indianapolis who can help. Post in the MWIC forum. It's SO much to read? Get used to it. Research twice, buy once. I can condense the information for you, but then you'd have to buy a bunch of stuff and waste a lot of time if that's what you want.
