Exclamation The Trend Continues!

Nasioc mods are STILL 'close' happy on threads ~ "Had it with Subiesport" is the second thread 'closed' since this very inactive forum has started!!!

The M.O. is always the same... mod doesn't like what is being said about his/her product and the thread gets snapped shut. Why the paranoia? It is simply words and opinions? We are all big kids and can sort out the loosers ourselves. Don't need 'big brother's help.

I have been very happy at RS25 and I-Club where people are free to express their opinion and not worry about 'stepping on toes'. Perhaps those with open minds would enjoy either of these forums instead...

Nabisco needs to wake up and smell the coffee. I only dropped by here because I am a HUGE fan of the magazine and also will be coming up with others for Subiefest. But I gave up on Nabisco a long time ago...

Now, I give up on the Subiesport forum as well. Same BS, but just a different color.

I think that is unfair. There was plenty of debate that wasn't too friendly to the magazine in that thread. But it was getting long in the tooth and now we had people who had never bought a magazine and were simply just hopping on the bandwagon to bash. Like that never happens here right? At that point it became another useless thread for people to complain about pink wheels. Would that make you happier? Do you want 10pages of free expression in which people who have never laid hands on the mag get to sound off about something they have admitted to never reading.

I see it alot on the forums. Someone has a bad experience with a part or product, they post it up and then all of a sudden there are 100 people posting that X company/product sucks even though they have never used or seen X product.

I could go on if you like. If you want a prime example of this look at the sticky in the engine managment section. That particular thread makes me angry.

In the end, when we feel that a thread is leaving the realm of general critique and just turns into a free for all for bashing... we will close that thread. Sorry that bothers you. Constructive critique is welcome, but if you want me to listen, pick up a freaking mag first. Read it and have something to say.

I alone moderate this forum. For anyone that wants to "vent" OT is just a click above this forum.

This is for constructive discussion about Subiesport. If someone has a valid complaint or concern. Call us. Write us. Don't just post into bitch threads under the cloak of ananonymity. Closing threads is NOT a personal attack on anyone. It's ending a topic that is no longer being constructive or no longer is showing any respect for the host of this forum. Us.

I was in the process of designing the December cover and MeanEditor (Travis) is (rather, *was*) working on the suspension guide. We're both now paying attention to this thread instead of doing work *on* the magazine.

Yes, I'm closing this thread. This isn't because of a NASIOC conspiracy, it's because I have more important things to do then to moderate the non-readers that pile on to threads like this and waste everyones time.

That's NOT pointed at you NW OBS, it's directed to those the many other that do meet that criteria.
