Default Stage 2 safe for my mods!?

I have the following mods to my 02 wrx (i run 93oct), will the Cobb base stage 2 map be OK, or should I get an AP from PDX w/ a map from them...all this needs to do me for a few (read up to 6) months, until I can get protuned. I'm planning on getting it protuned @ boxer4racing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The only thing I see that will cause you problems with the OTS stage 2 map is the CAI. It will most likely cause the AFR to be off, the map is tuned for the stock intake.

Also the BOV is helping either

I would switch back to the stock intake and BOV, your car will run better, but if you must have the noise your car will probably run alright with them.

My first thought... go hear and ask them- http://cobbtuning.com/

But I'd say your parts are not 100% for Stg2.

Ditch the BOV and intake until your ProTune. Even after, I don't know why you'd want the BOV toy, but it's your car.

run the map and watch your live boost if your holding safe boost levels and not throwing CEL's the car should be fine, if you notice issues at least run stage 1 with the mods until you get the rest of your stuff and get a protune...

if ur gonna give wrong info about the accessport then dont try and help people please, you will just help them f up their car. dont run the stage 1 map with your turboback. read the map notes and they will tell you wat mods are ok for each stage. does nobody care to do their own research about things. you will learn more about your car and not be getting wrong info.

i appreciate the feed back, I do intend to go back to the stock BOV, due to the occassional backfire (i've not run into some of the problems others have seem to have with it).

Hes running headers and and CAI. Hes has no idea what his AFR's are and most importanly EGT's and what about that other thing: PINGING/DETONATION?

What a lousy combo. .sure it doesnt run a s good as a bone stock WRX.

ADR is right. The headers will probably cause a problem. There are other posts on this board where people put these on and had severe boost problems.

You really need to get a protune or call PDX tuning or TDC tuning and get a custom map made for $150. You had better make sure you had some way of data logging your car so they can tweak the map for you.
