Question Anyone know what's happening at Total Autosport?

I was going to drop by this morning and it's empty. Some building work going on but it looks like they have either moved or closed. Anyone know what's happening/happened?

Whatever is happening, I was getting some really bad service the last time I had to go back to get a previous brake install fixed. That was in late August. Stuff looked like it was being moved around so they could be history.

Perhaps that is because they were doing work on all of those US cars???

thus diluting the Total name even more.
Who here remembers when Total was a recommended Subie shop?

I was talking to Cody a few weeks back.
He is tired of his business partners and has removed himself from the business.
To the best of my knowledge he going to visit his family (in Iran) for a few months.

I never had any issues with Cody.
I wish him best of luck in his future endevors.

i think thats where the problem lies when people stopped going to total. not because staff left, but because it was too 'chill', and not business like.

i have nothing but good memories of total and especially cody. he was exceptionally nice to me, and i remember when he spent an hour on my carbon fiber hood fitting it and drilling it for free. a good guy to hang around with..

best of luck to cody and his son.

hmmm..i wonder if hes selling his bike

I had no issues there as well. Had my 60,000km maintenance done there and he gave me great deal and was very pleasant to talk to. It's too bad another Suby-friendly shop bites the dust.

i disagree. i think that helped out if anything. a good business makes a customer feel like they're a part of what goes on. i would never want to drop my car off at a place where everything happens behind closed doors. who knows what i'm getting charged for and what's going on. total didn't feel like it was solely a business when i walked in. staff who worked there had a passion for motorsport and they realized that the people who brought their cars to total had the same passion (i think?) and were treated like business partners. i dunno, my 2 cents i guess.

I didn't mean it that way. I think some people found, without Jamie and Ken, that the work quality suffered because the workplace was more relaxed.

Default Total loss

I was also a regular at Total for regular maintance and installation.
And found the work there very good, no complaints. Cody's the man.
I learned a lot from him. Does anyone know if Cody will open up a new place?

If not, where is everyone talking the cars now??
