Default Lug nuts, locking lug nuts

I just took delivery of my TS wagon today. I've got the cheap steelies, but a set of factory alloy take-off's already sitting in the garage ready to bolt on.

Question: I was expecting Subaru to cheap-out on the lug nuts, but it looks like the steelies are held on by tapered lug nuts, just like I thought I'd have to buy for the alloys. It's okay to use them for the alloys, right?

Second question: I'm looking for locking lug nuts. I've seen McGard's ads, seen that SOA sells locking lugs, am wondering what you guys are using...

Thanx,

The SOA locking lug nuts are McGard (that's what I use).

i use a set of rays lightweight lug nuts (1 nut is 7-sided) in the summer and a set of subaru ones for the winter. i've got an extra set of the subaru ones, still in the package, for sale if you're interested.
