Stock impreza ain't that bad for a base-line non-turbocharged sedan! And when a couple hundred bucks hooks you up with a little more "performance" then how can you go wrong.....for the money!

I'm not sure exactly how to do it, but I suppose you could always go to your local stealership and see how the factory does it.

I'm 90% sure I'm going to buy the Type XA within the next few days. I think that it looks better than the single (resonated) tip and it has a nice low tone.

Where are you buying your stromung from? I have a friend with the HKS carbon ti that said he's seen the Carbon Ti it on an 2.5RS, but he had to get the piping custom built so he could use the back bolt on with the muffler so no full piping but still..sorta deciding if that'll work and if it does i might just have to do it cuz his Carbon Ti...sounds amazing although it's on a wrx.

Yup, Got it off a 2007 STI at the dealer 4 miles on it. IT IS a DIRECT BOLT ON. Much improved sound over stock impreza. It has 2.5" piping vs 2.25" and a Big ASS Crome Tip as you can see. I also got the wing on the back gate.

How much did you pick it up for? I was looking at the Stromung axle back for like $380 I think.

^ lol my car with stock header/wrx midpipe/sti axleback sounded exactly like that... little moreboxer in it though; and damn that beep with car/on door open is really annoying.

+1 on the camera skills, you did it decently right, go post it in the exhaust video thread when you get a chance.. we need more people to record vids like that.

where are you in Ohio?

I am in Toledo I know the beep gets on my nerves. Thanks I will post more vid clips when I go out with a bunch of people I cruise with. The camera I used is a sony point and shoot I was really amazed that it came out that good. Plus it is in a garage so it dose sound kinda crappy to...
