I got my wrx wing off ebay. Painted and shipped was like $240. And you could do the install in the driveway. If you need a hand I'm sure you could find one from a friendly subie owner.

From what I hear, its alot of work to put in on yourself. If you can get enough money together I defenately suggest having subaru put it on for you.

timesnap- I am jealous! Can you get some pics when everythings put on?

Wasn't too difficult for me. I had a buddy give me a hand. The toughest part is getting it perfect center. Then drill holes using hole locators or a template if you can get your hands on one. It'd be easy to make one either way. This isn't rocket science. The one off ebay is exactly the same as the oem spoiler. If you look at the underside of your trunk and see the 4 circular openings, that is where the screws go. Just don't get the one from the stealership. Its way overpriced. Thats what the internet is for.

ebay all the way lol...

no problems whatsoever. the kit comes with all wiring necessary, the only problem was finding a place to put the little box that connects to the headlights, i ended up mounting one of them where the connector for the daytime lights use to be since you have to unplug them anyway. and the other one i have clipped onto my fuse box lol.. its stays though. since thats the only thing done under the hood at the moment its not in the way of anything.

def not a fan of the 10k bulbs. i have 6k now and its perfect, ten gets you cop trouble and comprimises looks over functionality IMO. i mounted my ballasts in random spots in my engine bay and no problems.

i actually originally wanted 8000k but they sent me the wrong ones. i love em. yeah its not as bright as the 6k but its definitely better than stock.

i dunno if im lucky or what but i havent been pulled over for my headlights at all and ive had em since november.... *knock on wood* lol. i guess hollywood police dont care about headlight color cuz so many people here have hids

post some pics of the 6ks i wanna see

Yeah, it's strange, isn't it? Depending on the lighting, it can look many different shades of blue.
