I'll post some pics of my 2.5i after I get these horns installed!
A monkey wrench, a longer socket wrench, and another pair of hands and I finally got the damn nuts off!

Without too much self-promo, I wanted to make it a bit easier on you guys.
A few people have been referred my way.

I made the 2.5i decals for coop and ilya.
As mentioned, shoot me an e-mail to info AT betacuts DOT com as well, feel free to check out the website.

Cheers

I know this isn't the right place, but I figured it would be a start.
I'm looking for an exhaust, but don't want something too loud, I'm thinking an STi/SPT cat/axel back if I can find one, if not a Magnaflow muffler.
My main problem is the headers, I want UEl headers, but don't want to go with, because I don't want to spend a ton of money.
I'm looking at WRX headers, how hard is it to make them fit and what is required? Or is there an alternative that's decently priced?
I live in Vermont, so we have a lot of salt, and don't want something that will rust out.
Thanks guys!

It'll cost about $500 to make WRX headers work or for $500 and no hassle rallisport something or whatever makes a bolt on header for our cars that doesn't throw a CEL. Both are good quality and will not rust (I'd probably trust the aftermarket ones more)

As for exhaust the STi has quad tip so won't fit unless you mod the bumper. But the OEM WRX or WRX SPT (08-10) will work. I know for a fact the OEM exhaust is very quite but louder than stock. I'd assume the SPT can get loud though. Also, check out the Nameless Performance axleback exhausts (their is a few YouTube videos of 2.5i's with them).

Yeah, I'm just thinking about the Magnaflow, but thanks.
Any headers you recommend that are less money, or is that about where they start?

I personally don't like black because I like the look of the horns, and black just blends in.
I originally did my silver, then swapped to gold to match the wheels, looks much better in my opinion.

For a 2.5i their is only one true bolt on header.

The WRX or eBay headers can be picked up cheap but you need to modify them to fit correctly.

headers will not be cheap. Their are a few routes you can go, but all said and done without throwing a cel, you're looking at $500.

not all the time, my uel header was $100 and spent $70 at an exhaust shop and so far 3 years in no cels, and no leaks yet, so I guess it just matters where you live

Write up/pics? I'm guessing a used OEM header for $100 and the exhaust shop cut the header and extended it to your cat. What about the o2 sensor?

It is an eBay header, and the exhaust shop cut off where it goes up, and they welded a pipe to go where the cat unbolts, welded on a flang, at least I think they did, tomorrow I will get pics, but they then drilled a hole right behind that second cat or whatever it is and put a bung there
