You are correct, CAI's are not good for our cars for multiple reasons. I addressed that issue in this thread months ago, he seemed to take offense. I personally dislike his style very much so. It's a non-functional ricecar and it appears his friend's are even worse. But to each their own as they say, my opinion is no more correct than his.

I would suggest not using a CAI or oiled filter on our cars that use a MAF for anyone that wants to take care of their subie. If you are interested in changing your intake, go for the hybrid.

Already have the Semi-hybrid (just changed the intake piping left the stock air-box with a high flow apexi) hahah i knew it was brought up before with many of the CAI's but i thought i read somewhere that Cosmo or some other company had made one for the 2.5i N/A specifically to not screw with the MAF or throw a CEL but i'm a noob myself so what do i know haha.

It was listed on their ebay store about 2 weeks ago for $245, they had 6 listed and they all sold within the week lol I was just going to order the oem sit wing and get it painted, but then came across this. also instead of painting it I decided to try out Hexis' pearl white vinyl (which is on the ends) to decide if I like the look or not. which is a pretty close match!!! (the vinyl looks lighter in the pics since it is clean and the car is not )

Now I'm debating whether or not to vinyl wrap the roof with gloss black, any opinions?

I enjoy it just fine.No check engine lights and has never affected my drivability. Im not really understanding why dex is so upset because youll also notice many members on nasioc running the same intake.
