I think it'll poke a lot more than that though. And about -8 to -10 degrees of camber around

Regardless of my opinion you are probably going to hit your fender liner when you turn close to full lock out and possibly hit the strut/shocks on your car. Not gonna lie, your probably going to have to spend as much as your car is worth to make it look right with all the body work and paint required.

With a low enough offset and how narrow coilovers are I think inside clearance would be okay. Definitely would remove the fender liners though. But fenders will need to be widened about 5-6". So major pulling plus flares.

with narrow coils, camber kit+plates, wheel tubs cut out and rolled sheet metal welded in, like drifters do. I want to clean up the bay, move the battery, not and extensive tuck+shave but a little. as for the fenders in front they will be cut to fit the flares at that fitment, the rear fenders will be pulled with the flares but it wont sit as low as the front.

Agreed. And everyone and their mother knows how much I hate the Hellaflush "movement".

But, as he mentioned, it IS about how he likes his car.

I hope there is so much poke that an inch or more of the wheel hangs out and they get destroyed. That is how stupid this idea is. It is the equivalent of having a RWD sports car that has 17x9 OEM wheels and putting on 14x5 steel wheels. To each his own though right?

Awesome dude, you're another reason why I hate most Subaru owners. If you think I'm gonna have bare wheel exposed without tire over it, and hit a curb, you're retarded. Ever heard of stretching tires numnuts? Didnt think so. But it's cool, people like you guys, who hate is the reason why I got into VIP-hellafush-whatever you want to call it. You either get it or you don't. I can make my car stand out in that scene you rally inspired guys better have some cash flow to make a 2.5i "rally worthy"...pfff...

Actually the stock class of my local rally races is extremely competitive and run times MUCH faster than whatever the 'bolt on only' class scores. Just saying lol.

What the hell are you even talking about? Yes we all know what stretched tires are. You are trying to run 17x12 because deep down inside you think it's cool and that people will praise you. When in reality it is pretty damn stupid and you are being flamed.

I'm not really sure how you clarify us as "rally inspired guys" or how we are trying to be "rally worthy" but whatever. To clarify, I DO understand the hellaflush scene. There is a difference between doing it right and doing it wrong. I'll let you take a guess how you're doing it.

Oh and also, if you hate so many Subaru owners... Why are you trying ever so hard to make your N/A Impreza "stand out" with a "cash flow". Standing out with a hood scoop and no turbo is so cool I know.

What I dont understand is why you even care. If you'd take a look at what I said, involving tubbing, pulling/rolling, flares, using a proper camber kit, and coilovers, I'd say I'm doing it better than most hellaflush guys out there but I mean if you're such a guru, and know what's right and wrong on how i should achieve the look I want then please tell me how so. I don't see your car with it so how are you the all knowing fitment god?! It's not about standing out in the Subaru world, it's about the VIP style. I have never seen a Subaru, sit like that Bee Dragon Crown Athlete. I don't even want to go into how much you hate the setups those guys run because it ruins a car, in your opinion. 12" wide wheels are ridiculous, I get it. But then again lowering a Subaru is ridiculous in the first place. right?!

Oh and the whole hood scoop deal you can give me **** on, I like it, and it does function.

IDK about you guys, but I CAN'T WAIT to see how these 12" wheels turn out.

Although I have one thing to say...

I never once said or consider myself a "fitment guru". Hell, I never said anything about hating anyone else's car let alone yours. I just said 17x12's are pointless. That's all. Carry on with your "VIP" status and Bee Dragon Crown Athlete, whatever the F that is.

Please though, tell me how your hood scoop is functional..

So those guys who have a fmic on their sti or wrx are out of line right? It's not that it over heats, I like the way it looks, the fact that it flows cool air over the motor is a bonus.
If you looked at the link I posted it's about the crown athlete, a jdm only sedan built by Bee Dragon (a shop in japan) that happens to look perfect IMO.
It's never gonna make sense to any of you who don't get it now, it's artwork in some people's eyes. You can't compare it to any other Subaru cause frankly, it's too much to handle for some of you..obviously
You don't have to like it, but respect it for what it is.

I had a 93 tt-RX-7 and a vented hood actually prevented it from overheating but those rotaries are weird voodoo magic machines.

Where did a FMIC come in to play at? A FMIC on a turbo car serves a purpose, unlike your hood scoop.

I never saw the link you posted of said car.
