Technically, neither are correct.

Interesting cut job. Although mine aren't square, my cuts are at least straight.
Is it 4x2 for fog covers and 3x1.5 for trunk?

I honestly guestimated the size by looking at pics of the "STi" above the "Impreza" badge and then measuring my "Impreza" badge for relativity. I got pretty close. As far as cuts, what does that matter? It's a decal so the only thing that will end up on my car is the lettering.

I bought them from a custom sticker maker on eBay named ultimate_vinyl

4x2 for the rear badge 3x1.5 for the grille badge.

The cuts are really just a sign of craftsmanship. If they guy couldn't be bothered to make clean professional cuts, what else couldn't he be bothered to do?

Also it's a waste of material which adds to his cost. Additional cost which he may or may not be passing off to the customer.

Are those measurements universal or just for the'08+ STi?

I paid $5 for the two stickers (shipping included) and got the mess ups for free. I think you need to calm down about the cut out job, your statements are coming across as jealousy to me.

Anyways, the decal is going on tonight after the kids go to bed. I will post pics tomorrow.

Lol I think he's far from jealous. I agree with him that them not being cut properly is kind of a "wth" sort of thing. You are right though that it shouldn't affect the quality of the sticker though.

I think it may just be '08+ but the 1:2 aspect ratio should be universal.

And trust me... I am far from jealous.

Granted, I'm just a guy cutting vinyl in my free time, I would have charged you less. But I wouldn't include any extras or mistakes because there wouldn't be any.

Exactly. I'm not doubting the quality of the decal itself. But that kind of stuff just raises questions and concerns.
