You don't actualy need to replace the entire mirror. It's just a plastic piece that pops in and out. You can probably rarely find it used, or new at a subuaru dealer. (SGP?)

Painting side mirror caps:

what you can do is
1) pop them out with a screw driver, there are two latches hidden behind the side mirror, in which you have to play around with the controls of the side mirror until you can see the latches.
2) sand the mirror caps with wet sand paper (clean and dry them after you've sanded them)
3) Apply primer so the paint will adhere to the plastic more accurately
4) Allow time to dry
5) Apply 2-3 coats of paint (get a paint shop to mix together a spray paint that matches your car color code)
6) Allow time to dry
7) Apply 1-2 coats of clear coat
8) Allow time to dry
9) Snap them back onto your side mirrors and you're done.

or

Get a shop to paint them for you.

or

Purchase them from SGP

Thanks J-Chow. Last time I tried spray painting my computer case I got left with a bunch of air bubbles in the paint, so many I'll just drop the money to have a shop paint it.

I'd recommend that you take it to a shop to get it painted.

Mostly stock so far. I would like to get some sweet wheels (17" Rota slipstreams-Gun metallic), fog lights, and an exhaust. Maaaaaybe later some kind of suspension work.
