Default Hydra add-ons

MDAC General Purpose Digital Meter (display AFR via LCD). "Email us for payment details." Looks to be roughly $100 US in assembled form. Available as a kit for ~$50 US and "very experienced assembler required".

I've never tested that product so I can't offer any advice. I know many like AFR gauges but the refresh rate is so slow they really aren't that useful for tuning. Even if your AFRs are off what are you going to do about it without a laptop As long as my EGTs stay in the ball park I know the AFRs are consistent with my tuning and I don't worry about it.

AIM Sports Dash is almost ready for the Hydra EMS and I'll likely run that setup in our race car. Believe it or not at $999 it's not a bad idea since that's about what 3 Defi gauges and a pod cost.

This baby’s got 8 inputs! You can read up on it here: http://www.aimsports.com/products/mxl-strada/index.html

Thanks,
Phil

I actually haven't tested this product yet so I am unsure how the data is transfered between the two.

It will probably use the CAN network. We use those on our race bikes and they work pretty good. I'd recommend stepping up to the Pista or Pro though. The extra memory comes in handy when logging a lot of channels plus I think the Strada is limited in some of the sensors it can use. When running suspension sticks you have to run the sampling rate pretty high and it eats up memory. If you are just after a display the Strada is fine but if you want to do serious data logging you gotta go with the Pista or Pro.
