Default question regarding fuel pump and injectors...

im getting tuned in about month and was wondering if it would be smart to add a fuel pump and injectors before the tune...obviously i know it would push more fuel and help out pressure but is it worth getting for the tune?

current setup...

Stock Turbo
Cobb AP
QTP Electric Downpipe Cutout
STi Up-Pipe
Samco MAF Hose
Agency Power Turbo Inlet
V7 STi TMIC Intercooler & Y Pipe
TurboXS (MF) Axle Back
NGK Iridium Spark Plugs

breatinez is technically corrct, but the answer really depends on what kind of tune you're going after.

When I got my conservative Stage 2 tune, my injector duty cycles were pretty high, "but fine for the conservative tune," <---- as per my tuner.

If you want to squeeze maximum juice out of your setup and not have to worry about fueling issues, I say go for it. It's might be a bit on the overkill side, but the extra margin of safety is probably worth it.

Besides, you'll be all set for a bigger turbo later on.

Regular tune = not needed.
