Question Installing turbo? Need advice

I have an opportunity to buy an older EJ18's turbo and heads and other parts form an older ej18 engine. I'm wondering if the packet is going to fit to my present engine.
My car, Legacy 1.8, is 1993 model with no turbo (as you might guess). The engine i'm plannign to get the parts is from Leone 1989. So is it possible to fit the engine together?

Any information about the problems what I might encounter with the project?

Does ECU and ECM handle this.

Engine space problems?

What do I need for this project excluding the parts I can rip off from the old engine?

What about the emissions, does they increase a lot and what on what areas are they increasing e.g. CO2?

Finally - any guessess about the power increase

Maybe forgot something...

Thank you in advance for any information!

tony

The Leone has a EA81 engine not an EJ18. There is NOTHING in common with these engines. I dont think the exhaust are the same either. Are you sure your 93 Legacy has a 1.8L most came with a 2.2L. The engine code is stamped on the block under the alternator, check it out and let me know.

I just saw you are from Finland. Maybe this info wont apply.

Cool

Scooby Steve: I have EJ18 in the heart of Subie. We have here in Finland Legacys with 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.5 litre motors. Some you can have with turbos.
Anyhow, I'm afraid that you might be right with the Leone issue. That really ruins my project, if they have EA81 motors and it can be assumed it's the same around the world in Leones. I have to check out...
Thanks for the info...
... disappointed currently

No really - thanks!
