Default pls help my 4th gear grind!!

hello guys i have a 03 subaru wrx sedan, 30000 miles. everytime i go from 3rd to 4th gear shifting over 3500 rpm it grinds. what can it be? is this still under warranty? my mods are turboback,uppipe/headers, and cai.

well i just changed my tranny and rear diff fluid 2 weeks ago i put 75w90 valvoline syntetic. can that be the reason why my 4th gear grinds?

yep. sometimes people have grinding issues with the other fluids.. some people have more luck with Redline fluids, or the stock fluids. Your car may not take the valvoline fluid well..

dont try putting mobile 1 in there either. my first and 4th grinds!

+1 for stock or redline, or uncle scotty;s mix
