Default 2002 Gauge Cluster w/ Blue backlighting

SOLD!!!

Up for sale is my original 2002 Subaru WRX gauge cluster.
It has been modified slightly to accomodate a Redline Volution series gauge overlay that lights up blue. Mileage on the cluster was around 46,000 but it's been awhile since I've had this in my car.

Problems: I cannot find the momentary on/off switch to turn on the backlighting on/off. Not a big deal, as ANY momentary on/off switch would work with this. Also, the section around the tachometer had to be cut & widened with an exacto knife because the RPMs were sticking slightly every now and then.

Reason for sale: I bought myself a 2004 STi gauge cluster!

EDIT:
This is now on eBay!

Bump it up for the whitey goodness!

Come on guys.... this is an EASY mod for blue backlighting!

Bump, as this is a great price on a cluster for all you guys who've removed the needles from your own gauge clusters and ruined them.....

Its true, Ive thought about buying this just as a back up or maybe just a switch, but by now Im so used to the tach in the middle and I have a JDM cluster so I kind of like the KMH, but it is a good looking cluster. Theres a kid on here who has been looking for nothing but an STi cluster for weeks, he says his doesnt work, but no one will sell him an STi cluster for the price he wants, if I were him I would definetly pick this up. The only problem I have with getting it is Id have to order some different bulb condoms and chage out the HVAC and look for a new clock...but my stereo does light up blue...

Do the face gauges cause the cluster to stick any more you said you trimmed it but how well does it still work and did you install the cover yourself?

Wow, holy long sentence structure Batman!

To answer your questions:
1) The tachometer needle no longer sticks. I trimmed the circle outward from the needle and it's fluid in operation now.
2) It still worked great! The only reason I let it go was because I got an STi cluster, and now I'm changing my interior lighting to red because of it.
3) I did install the gauge cover myself and did it CAREFULLY!!
I even dremeled out small port holes in each side of the cluster so that the gauge overlay wires would lay flush and wouldn't get bent or damaged when it was installed. It's a quality piece, and there's probably about 2 hours of painstaking work invested in this cluster!

Thanks for your questions, and good luck bidding!
