Direct. Bolt. On. The vents are made for the hood, including the ridges.

Default It may depend on the batch,,,,,,,,,,,

The bolts on mine didnt quite match up with the holes on the hood.1 drill,1 drill bit,1 minute, all fixed. And iff ya do get em, dont wind the nuts or wing nuts down too tite.Just snug them up and use lock nuts and washers, they work better.

Yea... I emailed you awhile ago about them and you told me the prices, I need to get some money. Because you have some awsome prices on that stuff. Considering it's painted and shipped !

The vents on the real 22B are HUGE - thats why they look funny in the picture. these are 22B "style" vents - look like them but made for our hood. good stuff, Ive seen a set and they fit very well.

Default 22b vent backing plates

This mod has been discussed before,,anyway,on the bottom side use some spacers(rubber washers) to get some space between the backing plate and the hood. This will allow the engine compartment to let out some heat.Which is why the vents are there on the reall 22b.It also keeps the wet off the battery.

Dude, what are you talking about? The 22B vents are exactly like the replicas. The WRC has the huge vents.

22b vents and WRC vents are two different pieces. The WRC vents look similar but are much bigger as in the pic.

BTW, I've had both of the plates off under my 22b's and rain and snow have no effect on the battery.

WHY? It's possible... would require cutting holes into the hood... BUT IT WOULD LOOK REDICULIOUS! I'd find a WRC style hood.

Heres a WRX with some chopped on 22B vents. I don't think it looks too bad actually. Adds a little something to the hood.
