Question Where to get a Radar Detector...??

Anyone know a place that sells them for a really good price? Any Online-shops? I'm looking at Bel RX65 and the new passport. Thx

Bel RX65 here.
As for where to purchase, Future shop still has the best price. I bought mine during a sale and it cost less than an average speeding ticket with points.

There are only two radar detectors worth the money, Bel RX65 and Escort 8500. They're the same thing too, made by the same company, so it doesn't matter which one. Don't waste your time with anything else!

Future shop, Lordco, Ebay.

Even though I had a heck of a time with Valentine, gotta admit its worth the money for the extra feature - was playing with an X50 and the V1 provides much more usable feedback.

Just don't expect much from their really lousy customer service!

Here's a little trick to save you the points and the ticket ever showing up on your permanent record. When you pay your ticket, pay a somewhat substantial amount extra, say $10. When they get your cheque, your file will be out of balance, so to correct their books, they will send you a cheque to sort out their records. Don't cash the cheque, and your file will stay open. The ticket and points don't get recorded until your file is closed. I just heard about this trick the other day.

As far as radar detectors go, you get what you pay for.

If your going to get one, get the Valentine. I had the valentine and the passport both on my dash for over three months. The valentine always picked up faster everytime. It's worth the extra few dollars. It may not look the greatest, but it does the job
