Well I think I got em all beat. I put a decent amount of money and a whole lot of time into my baby. Problem is, I am not done yet, and as far as I know, I never will be. Pics below of my current setup.
Ran it at the Subaru Challenge in Baltimore. Had a lot of fun learning what the new setup can do but I am still learning. A list of mods is below as well. JDM 6mt close ratio trans swap with R180 Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump Spec Stage 3 550lb clutch Custom header back exhaust(magnaflow components) Stage 3 Supercharger from ECUtune @ 12psi -Whipple 1600ax compressor -Custom manifold and supporting parts -740cc Nismo injectors and clips PWR Aluminum radiator Silicon radiator hoses Brake upgrades and a lot of other **** I don't remember right now Soon to come- Water injection Bigger dual exhaust Dual adjustable koni inserts Ground Control coilovers Thats about it. More info can be found at ECUtune.com about the blower and how it works along the lines of tunning. Tom

well thats just the thing. I have not had time to get it to the dyno. When he was still tuning it, the producer of the kit was making 270awhp with his auto. With a little more tuning and a little less loss from the standard trans I am hoping for about 300whp. Nothing too redicluou but enough to get me excited

thats really neat, and not to be a dink but if someone else designed and built the kit what makes you think yours is the most powerful one EVER?

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I read of an SVX with 600+ whp a few years ago. and there are drag cars using the 3.3 block.. there is even a 4 cyl turbo swap into an svx making more power than that.

Well thats what I was asking for. Does anyone have any info on these cars? The SVX making 600whp? the SVX with an actual working 4cylinder swap?? I have not been able to find anything like it. And for the record, this is not a drag car, this is a street driven car and is still legal. So the EG33 drag WRX's that I do know about don't really constitute as an SVX just because they have dumped ungodly amounts of money into an engine. I am 21 years old and working on a shoe string budget. I only know of 1 sucessful EG33 swap that is making more power than me and they are in Australia, Rigoli(sp?) I believe. No one else besides the EG33 RS n/a has done the swap with any success. Not defending myself so please do not take it that way, merely asking where you got your info as I would like to know more

Some other SVX owner(s) is running a turbo kit, and likely is making that amount and could do more. Not knocking it, cause that is a sweet and unique setup. I am hoping to do that on a 3.0 H6 at some point, looks very nicely done.

I'm with you on this one Tom. I'd love to see these alleged high power SVX. We've all heard rumors and hear say on the SVX World Network. Tom, Phil, Mike and several other guys with forced induction are constantly keeping those of us still running NA updated. Tom's a talented mechanic on the SVX. Hell, he helped me with my 6MT swap and cam upgrade.

Nice setup man, I like it. Of course this is coming from a SC RS owner haha. I been thinking of getting a whipple 2300. how do you like the 1600. is it their new design or one of the older auto rotors/ Lysholm?
Good luck and if your ever in CT area let me know i like to see your setup in person, MadMax |

Btw, are you running a custom crank pulley? the belt looks more then the typical 5 rib that stock RS engines run. Not sure what a stock Svx runs. What size pulley do you have running for both crank and the SC ?
I ask because im thinking of moving to either a 1600 or 2300 myself, from an eaton. thnks, mm |

it is a custom 6 rib pulley on the blower and PS pump Stock pulley for the A/C and an extra set of 5 ribs for the alt on the front. I love the blower, still dealing with tunning issues but the compressor is perfect and sounds awsome, highly recomended

Ya Tom, The tuning issues might be worked out. I got 5 versions of new software from ECUTune last week, he's been using my car as a testbed. I tested them out and let Mike know my results. He called me the other day to let me know he sent me what he thinks will be the final version. I'll be installing it this weekend to test it out. So my car may actually be just a tad faster. I'm trying to get ahold of LAN to find out what software he sent you. |

I have no idea what he sent me and that is alot of my problems right now. he won't give me straight answer on anything and he keeps saying that he is gonna send stuff to me but I haven't gotten the new Alt bolt, my z32 connetor, my new software.... Yeah I am getting a little tired of this, hopefully he will get it right this time around. I really wished he would have tuned it correctly on a dyno instead of tria and error.
