My Mom's 2.5i Trip to the Cottage! and some Offroading! *pics 56k brew some beer*

so my mom got the keys to her co-workers cottage and to help me relax. if its news to you i was recently held up at gun point just before i was closing the restaurant i work at. the man literally had the gun to my head for 10 minutes until i gave him money from the safe. the server staff working ran across the street in fear and didn't even manage to call 9-1-1 because they were so freaked out. but i made the papers and was left unharmed. anyways back to the trip its my relaxation period.

here we are on our way through the quebec mountain roads:

ooh its a fun twisty windy road

ok time to stop for some lunch (ooh it has a waterfront view!)

i've never seen such a fancy place with such an ugly chandelere

ok back to the car we go

ok made it to the ski mountain i decided to show my mom and her friend around the area without snow

yours truly.. (hey i get to drive this slow beast)

the main ski lodge where i eat poutine in the winter

my mom stepped in mud in anotehr part of the mountain i laughed at her, but also scared her becuase theres a cliff in front and behind the red plants

ok i parked at the top of this but didn't drive down because that was some odd isht to go over

i parked next to some rocks for you all to see

this is the driveway up yeah its steep but the car went over it realyl well i thought it would slip or spin but the AWD is really great!

ok so here we are 5 bedrooms sattelite TV a few bathrooms and ya its a cottage

i don't know there were a few of these i got scared even getting close to take the picture

this was lunch i hated it there were bones i'm not a true fan of filipino food so unfortunately i think i made my moms friend upset because i disliked her cooking and ended up making some salmon cooked with red wine and variosu spices

That Salmon stew also scares me, but I just don't like seafood... Have you ever eaten that Belut (sp?)? Now that is just gross...

that is "sinigang" in the philippines and yeah one of my favorite food.

but looks like you had a good time, and the drive to the cottage looked fun.

Mmm... sinigang. Not the fish variety though. Mas gusto ko sang sinigang baboy (pork soup stew.)

Yeah, balot used to be my favorite, but the rash cases of bird flu and the fact that there's lots of harmless ducks in my office park made me stop eating them.
