parking light help

well one of my sidemarker lights are out and the service manual says that i have to remove the headlight to change it and i was jus wondering if there was an easier way to change it. and another thing....i disabled my drl's and want to know if anyone is goin to say anything when i get my car inspected.

you can pop the sidelights out very carefully with a screwdriver, but you risk scratching the paint. it is VERY easy to remove the headlight. (i cleared my '02 headlights last night, removing the headlights took maybe 10 minutes and I had no clue going into it)

pop out the grill, remove the plastic piece beside the grill, remove 3 screws, and the headlight slides forward.

DRL's do not have to be on while going thru inspection, as long as all lights work there should be no problem.
If you are still a bit worried about it, turn all your lights on just as you get near the inspection site.
