Default Borla Header, 4th Strike

Strike 1: Overpriced
Strike 2: Rediculously poor craftsmanship
Strike 3: No noticable power benefits
Strike 4: Cracked after only a couple of months of service

Well, now it sounds like I'm driving an 83 rusted out town car. This header is really getting on my nerves. I'm going to give borla a call today and have some words with them. Hopefully I can can get a full out replacement or a refund.

mine also cracked on a weld after about 2 months
, talked to borla and they sent one out as soon as it was made and you ship the old one back in the box they sent you. pretty easy to work with them.

Well, I talked to Dennis @ Borla and he was a pretty nice guy. He said I could have a local shop reweld the crack and they would pick up the tab.... I guess thats good enough for me.....

hey LUME
you complain about no power gains, what is the rest of your exhaust plumbing include? pipe sizing, muffler?

and how do the headers sound compared to stock?

headers made no change to stock exhaust sound, which is a GOOD thing. Rest of exhaust system is the borla catback, which I give 2 thumbs up.
