Default sti intercooler fitment

does anyone know if an sti intercooler is a direct bolt-on for a 2004 wrx? any special modifications needed to make it fit?

Yep, dont know why you would want to go from a tiny to a small TMIC unless it is free.
If you are buying one put your $ on an Ebay spec for $145-220.
