Default WTB: Chicago; LCD computer monitor

Hey folks,

I'm looking for a cheap, used LCD computer monitor in good condition for my computer.

If anyone has any laying around and wants a couple bucks for it, this would be a good chance to unload it.

I'm not looking to spend alot, so don't offer me your used 19" for 200 dollars when you only paid 250 for it.

Jason

i don't want to spend 200 on a monitor.

The reason is that I'm getting an 40+ LCD in the next few months that will serve as both my TV and my computer monitor. So for the time being, I need a cheap =<$100 monitor to get me by.

Less then 100 for a LCD is hard to find, Even a used one. Unless you want a 15"

Also using a 40" for your pc aswell wont work out to well as your resolution will be huge.

the subaru bucks are gone...ended up trading with Jose for some paintball stuff.

as far as the >100 is hard to find bogus, officedepot just had a rebate sale where you got a 19" DVI LCD screen for 110 dollars. I missed out because they were out of stock by the time I found out.

As far as the 40" LCD being used as a monitor. I went to best buy and had the geeks squad hook up a computer to the TV so I could check it out...everything looked great.

Wrong. I have a 32" LCD Sony Bravia XBR for a monitor and it is better than any regular monitor or computer LCD I have ever used. Bogus you are cut off from posting in this thread!!!! 4EVAR!!!!

Check out a place called Han's system in Westmont. He has reasonable prices on used stuff - I got a real gem yesterday; 15" IBM LCD with 1.5 years of factory warranty left for $65

try craigslist? They have a lot of locals selling pc parts.

I bought my 21" trinitron CRT off of there for like $50 a few months back.

Oh yeah, haggling is your friend

Jason, I could probably get you just a normal flat screen monitor (probably 15inch) for free. My dad has extras at his work. Let me know.

I have no personal experience, but from what I've heard, never EVER trust TigerDirect to send cash back for a MIR.
