BTW i bought the master cyclinder for the brembo's for my car. What I got was the master, & i got the booster. Good deal for me since I paid 25% of what a new one would of cost. Thanks Kingpin.

Dealer cost on a new 6 speed is ~$4100. Who knows what they charge for retail.

His prices always seem more than fair to me, and conversations via the internet can always be tough to decode.

PS: we have had many vendor-to-vendor transactions with Kingpin successfully.

I posted this in KingPin's Vendor for sale thread... but wanted to put it here also...

Just wanted to give HUGE Props to KingPin... I called last Friday at 4:45pm and needed them to overnight a Down Pipe for Saturday morning delivery for a Dyno day in Dallas and he got it there no problem. I think he had to make a special trip to FedEx to get it out that late, but he went the extra mile and was very helpful. I will definitely do business with him in the future and recommend him to anyone!

THANKS!!!

Would like to add that this was my first and very pleasant experience with Kingpin. I purchased a roof scoop which is VERY hard to find. I sent an email around 8:00pm at night (EST) and got a response back darned near instantly. I asked for pics, they showed up a few minutes later. I asked for confirmation of shipping/price, got them all.

Got my FedEx tracking# that night, the unit was on the truck the next day. It was a great price, the unit camed packaged VERY well, arrived when it was scheduled to arrive, and was exactly what I was promised PLUS all the necessary mounting hardware.

All in all, couldn't ask for a more pleasant experience and would be sure to do business with Kingpin in the future.

I would like to say Thank You to Kingpin VERY much he went to the trouble to spend atleast an 2-3 hours to help me trouble shoot. He sent wiring diagrams and helped me check everything under the sun. Also before I started the car I was iffy if the ECUTEK reflash with UTEC on top was worth the money. I don't have the UTEC on yet and when I started up the car it Ideled like my stock WRX. I was Truley amazed. I have the DIY 740cc injectors but I think they were actually 850's. The car pulls hard and has no sign of knock. I would HIGHLY recommend kingpin to anyone who is thinking of a reflash...The product and the customer service was beyond what I could ever imagine.

Dave@Kingpin is the man. I purchased a WRX powersteering pump over the weekend off of one of his threads. I get a reply during the weekend saying that he won't be able to ship it until tuesday because he won't be in town - no prob. Then Monday afternoon he says he's really sorry but they are out of WRX steering pumps but instead of putting me on backorder - he gives me one from an STI, sends me a tracking number, and all that a day ahead of schedule! Commitment to a sale. He has won my repeat business. Thanks!

Dave@Kingpin, he's a pimp and a playa! Took care of me and my WRX with a same day install. He stayed late while I was stuck in the worst traffic I have ever seen.

Thanks man!

Default JDM STI V7 takeoff

Item: JDM STI V7 intercooler take-off

Ordering was easy via internet.
All questions were answered quickly via NASIOC PM.
Product arrive on time [ordered 1APR arrive 6APR].
Product was very well wrapped.

Complaints [all minor]: Intercooler was VERY greasy and dirty inside and out, but then again it was a take-off. Cleaned up nicely, and only had a few scratches. None of the damage would affect product performance. The intercooler was missing the gasket to the BOV, but again, this item's inclusion in the deal was not discussed prior to purchase.

Overall: 9 out of 10! Great price, great service.

Thumbs up MAD Props to Mike and Kingpin Performance!!!!!!!!!

Well, as some of you may know, my EJ20 died a horrible death due to human error input (literally). I started lookin over the financial feasibilities of a rebuild, a used EJ20 or goin for the gold and just going ahead with the V7 that I have long awaited. I did up the numbers and a rebuild would have cost quite a bit more than I thought, so I went to Mike at Kingpin and he walked me through the possible scenarios we could work with to get me back on the road ASAP (Mike hates a WRX that's down!!) I made him aware of my financial situation and he said "No problem, we can work it out, I'm here to help you". That alone made me know I was in good hands and that I was going to be taken care of. After a week or so of working up several options, he told me that there was a complete V7 due in and we worked out the deal, and, well- it should be here next week!!!! Mike went out of his way on MANY occassions, going so far as to allow me to call him after hours to work out the details. I want to say that if you are looking for an JDM STi motor or any other JDM STi part, go give Kingpin a look first- they EARNED my business and then some. THANKS MIKE!!!!

I will keep everyone updated on the upcoming swap, which looks like will be next weekend.

It's been a while, but I've dealt with Mike on/off since I got some 4-pot brakes way back when. Just got an STi gauge cluster from him this weekend for an amazing price. Just wanted to chime in again and give Kingpin props for excellent service! 2 thumbs way up!
