Since I have no trailes at the beach I bought a roadie, Specialized A1

Still have it, rusting on my back porch.

Just bought today!

Busted out a $600 night last night, I owed it to myself.

It was $500, he knocked it (and some bar ends) down to $445. I checked out 2 bikes above it, 1 bike below it. This had the fit and geometry I liked. I know its not the high end super bomber OT is used to, but for basic riding, and the occasional trip up to Middle Run (Newark, DE) it suits just fine. I've already been in the $1000+ range, and I know I didn't need it.

What'd you pay for it? I've been looking for a bike with a longer ETT than normal for my freakish long arms.

I've been to a few of those and they have GF cycles, but I haven't seen that particular model.

Ballz, dude. I went through two tubes the other day, on my road bike. Got to walk 4 miles home, in the rain, with a bike over my shoulder. I'm glad I have a carbon bike and mountain bike riding shoes.
