Default Does anyone else's eyes sting early in the morning?

Wondering if I'm the only one. Some mornings when I wake up earlier than normal, as soon as a light goes on, my eyes sting like a sonofabitch. It really hurts, and sometimes can be worse when I get in the shower and waters gets in my eyes. I can only compare the stinging sensation to getting soap in your eyes.

It almost never happens when I wake up at a normal time, but if I have to go into work early, or leave early for a trip, my eyes sting pretty bad and I can't figure out what it is. Do I have teh AIDS in my eyes?

It's probably the copious amounts of booze you consume. To the layman it's called a hangover.

My eyes sting every morning. I have a dr. appt later this week to get them looked at. Eye drops help, but using them at wake up is like stroking it with thumb tacks.

No no no, a hangover is usually a headache and diarrhea.

No I'm an IT guy. Maybe staring at a screen 8 hours a day is burning holes in my eyeballs. But I wonder why it only stings if I get up earlier than normal. It's happened more and more since I moved out here, because whenever I get up for work it's still pitch dark out, and maybe the shock of a light is doing something, but I can't figure out what.
