I haven't had any problems yet and installed it on July 3rd. I have had one CEL, but it was right after I was screwing with electrical stuff, so I doubt it was caused by the intake. It went away quickly.

Warranty-wise, remember that they have to prove that the aftermarket part caused the problem.

ylexot- How do you like the intake? I've been contemplating waiting for the Compass Motorsports intake because of the incredible gains, but the Cobb is my second choice. At what RPM(s) do you see the most benefit?

I've had no problems with my intake and only grins from ear to ear. I find no noticeable loss of low end torque.... I find it to be a even increase in power throughout the powerband. I haven't had a single CEL and it looks great too.

Hmmm, hard to say for a few reasons. First, I hadn't been out of the break-in period for very long when I put it on. Second, I didn't do an ECU reset, so the ECU took a little longer to learn the new intake. However, now I would have to agree with karl. I haven't noticed any low-end loss and it just keeps pulling to redline. Unfortunately, I don't know of any dyno charts with the intake (we really should get Cobb to do this). I looked at the Compass dyno charts and they are VERY impressive.

Yeah, the look and sound are awesome. When I showed my family, I opened the hood and everyone just said WOW!

karl - nice car, looks like mine even down to the red Cobb intake Of course, now mine has the painted headlight mod and red badge.

His lights definately get a big thumbs up. It's surprising that a little thing like that can change the look of the car.

Did the Cobb CAI mate up seemlessly? I know it is the same engine that the intake was originally designed for, but I didn't know if the engine bay made it necessary to fabricate something along the way to make it fit.

The intake just fit right in.. probably the easiest install you could imagine. I picked mine up directly from PRM (the company that makes them for Cobb) and it didn't even come with directions. The install took about 45 min and could have been quicker. The vacuum hoses can sort of be a pain if you have big hands but other than that its very easy.
