I know someone already said it looked like a Saab. So here is a comparison of the three.

The new grill rendering is not attractive at all. I've always felt comfortable with all the older grills. They were great looking from the start.

The new one could be best described as an 'Accident'.

The prototype has its hood scoop further forward than the current Impreza (and the photoshop image).

I presume that means different airflow for the intercooler, maybe straighter.

I guess I won't have a reason to get it. I already own it >>> 9-2X LOOK ALIKE!

Of course, if they make the STI Wagon then all bets are off!

I think SAAB provided some valuable input on upgrading the interior of the Impreza, so they decided the exterior should look a little more SAAB-like too. Added refinement. Moving upscale. Toning down the aggressive look. (wait a sec, we LIKE the aggressive look - bring it back!)

That does look like the gc body style. Could be a lot worst though.

What toyota is that? i wonder if it's a next generation supra?

Someone with photochop skills should put a bumper with GC-style fog lights on that thing and blank out the grill.

At the very least, its a photoshop based on the spyshot. The shape is at least close, though whatever is lurking under the camo on the door panels is not reflected in this pchop, and the grille is so awful and wrong that I won't even comment, since I can't find a word to express how dumb looking that is.

I'd say so too. The greenhouse arch is near identical, as is the lower lip detail. Given how the hood scoop doesn't quite match up in it's location, I'd say that the illustration probably is not based off the spy shot; an independent effort before the photo was taken.

The interior better be a quantum improvement, because the general shape of the exterior doesn't make that 'upscale' leap for me. It seems more 'chunky' then sleek at this point. I'd just soon spend a little more and get an Audi A3 if I was really hooked on 'upscale'. Still though, slight improvement over the '07s. I was really hoping for a homerun from Subaru though. I guess we'll have to wait until we see the official photos.

If the photochop is at all close, I think I could be very happy in something like that. Only reservation is in the headlights...I wish the bulb surrounds were more defined

also, for the millionth time, don't we all know these magazine photos are just speculation?

What's the matter Dynobyte? Got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?

You're getting a little too confrontational for the RUMORS section - it's all about speculation, so ease up.

Yes, we all know the aero grilles are gone, and, yes, we all know these magazine photos are speculation, so we're speculating on their speculations. There's nothing wrong with that.

There is a Toyota concept car that's been rumored to be the next Supra (or at least a Toyota supercar of some sort). Keep up, will you?

Your antagonistic posts will, at the very least, get you flamed, and possibly even banned, so take it easy.

Yep - that grille is stinky - makes me think of Daewoo.
I stopped in a podunk town btwn dallas and houston and the jack in the box manager came outside to gawk at my 06 wrx wagon. She couldnt believe it was as cheap as it is. She said it looked far pricier. Thats great and all, but this after the teenagers in the drive thru said, " Wow thats a wrx. I never seen that front-end before. I thought that was a kia when I saw you pull in the parking lot."

Well, here's the thing. If the drawing was done before those spy shots were taken, it makes them both that much more credible. Two independent sources with similar results.

jsut because it's the rumors section doesnt mean you are supposed to make up your own rumors based on nothing.

toyota has stated there won't be a new supra. I'm kept up.

I'm just refuting the retardation. Keep it up.
