Id also help if it were in town. I've done all of those (some more than others) except for the roof vent and the air/fuel meter.

With everyone willing to help you should bring the car down here!

Nice mod-list! Should be a totally new car with all the new stuff. Probably won't take more than 3-4 days, if you have skilled, motivated help. Then a couple more days of tuning

I don't see it taking more than a day or two. I'm planning on doing it at the auto shop on wainwright. can't complain about $3 an hour for a lift and tools. i figure we can install all except the exhaust and coilovers at once without the lift. then lift it up and do the coilovers and exhaust after that. i'm going to use the base stg 4 map until i can get it on a dyno. if it can be done in 1 day, it's a free case of beer for each helper

*scrolls up* wait, no swaybars? kind of pointless to do the coilovers until you get those...

So wait... if we don't finish in one day you're not gonna help anyone out with lunch or beer?... Sounds like a crappy offer...

BTW: You do realize we don't have a dyno here right?... the only dyno is Hales and the odds of you getting dyno tuned there are slim to none.

the odds of you getting dyno tuned there are slim, but the odds of you getting tuned and not getting your motor blown up are even slimmer, hahaha

guys, i said i was running the base stg4 map UNTIL i can get to a dyno. i leave AK in Feb. and I'm planning on going to World One Performance to get my dyno time done. i already have a 4 hour tune paid for. all i have to do is set the date a month out.

and beer / lunch is included. the case of beer is a bonus.

I've done all of those installs at least once, but I don't know about the auto craft shop. I'd rather do it at my garage, and save you the $3 an hour or whatever. Just hit me up when its closer to being in town. I've got all the tools needed.

JP

EDIT: I've never done the roof vent

Kudos on the roof vent install. I'll be curious as to how that install goes, and your impressions afterwards.

I don't know about "tuner shop", but I try. I'm planning on having the garage available for installs all winter, and then turning it into a paint booth in the spring so a few of us can get some new paint. You need to get some O rings gaskets for your injectors. I would suggest getting quite a few because there is always one injector that is a pain in the a$$, and it sucks to be stuck waiting for gaskets.

Will someone help me out with this one. Does he need colder plugs for this setup? I run a step colder for mine, but I also run a bit more boost than a 34 usually runs. I just thought it would be good to do the plugs while we do the injectors.

I didn't know if they were needed with the vf 34 or not, but if you already have them then its just one less thing to do.

What fmic did you get?
