Default could this be used as a metal resevior tank?(pic)

Hello, i was looking for one of those stock metal resevior tanks but i came up completly empty. I found an oil catch can on ebay and was wondering if i could use it as a resevior tank for coolant. Im asking becuase it has a cap on it.Thanks.

yup, it'll work way better as a coolant tank than a oil catch can. look at where the hose inlets are, one is almost all the way on the bottom, how are you gonna catch anything with that.

Looks way too small. I doubt that would even hold a gallon.

Until I get enough $$$ to get a spec C tank, I'm using a 5 gallon diesel plastic gas gan (yellow). Its mounted in my trunk. Pump is mounted next the spare tire towards the back and is out of site.

Just by a tank from coolingmist or go to autozone and get a plastic cooling tank with the nipples on it. I paid like $8 for the kit.
