Default Wont start AFTER it is warmed up.

Lets see if anyone can help. In the morning my car starts right up, no problem, but after i have driven for a while and turn off the car,I will leave it for about 15 min or longer and when i come back i have to turn it over for like 9 seconds let it sit and do it again, then it starts up very hesitantly. It even does this if I turn the key to the on position and let the car chime for a couple of seconds.
Let me tell you I have already checked for a vacuum leak, none.
I installed new plugs properly gapped and new wires, cleaned my injectors, I use 92 octane gas, installed new fuel filter, and I am pulling no codes. If anyone can offer any helpful suggestions I would very much appreciate it, THNX

Could your engine be flooded due to a leaky fuel injector? Next time when you try to start your car after a trip, try pressing the gas pedal to the floor while cranking the engine.

Fortunatley I have never overheated, but it does sound like it could be a leaky injector so how do i go about fixing this?
do I buy new seals or do I have to get new injectors?
Thnx

If it's really injector, I would try to determine which one is defective, and then replace just that one.

It could also be your starter getting heat soaked.

Unhappy

This might sound dumb, but since I dont know, how would one go about finding the defective injector. What would I do to test this?
TIA

You can have all the injectors removed and flow tested. If an injector fails the test, then you will know that it's bad.

I wouldn;t replace just the one. Always replace all injectors at the same time if you are going to replace them

Sounds more like a sensor than a fuel injector to me. Thats just my .02.

I'm an auto tech and I have seen this caused by a bad crank sensor that fails when hot. But the more likely cause is the fuel pressure regulator. The rubber diaphram inside leaks and when you crank the motor the fuel floods the motor via manifold vacumn. Find yourself a hand vacumn pump, and with the car off, pump the vacumn port on the FPR down. If you get fuel, it's leaking. I see it all the, especially in hot climates. It takes five minutes to change out. I'd check it out before pulling all the injectors! sometimes when there leaking bad enough you can just pull the vacumn hose off and see, and smell fuel come out.
