New England Auto Show v2.0

I'm planning on headed to the Bay Side on Thursday night. I'm meeting a couple members and a bunch of other friends. Anyone that wants to come is mroe than welcome to. I plan on being there around 7:30 ish.

I get to go see Thomas the Tank Engine instead of doing this. Believe it or not I am looking forward to that. My Son is bouncing off the walls.

I'm heading in today at 1:00. I'll have a buddy looking for a new ride going with me. I'm trying to talk him into a WRX wagon. So I can drive it hehe.

I ended up going in last Saturday, even though I said I wouldn't.
A friend of mine was itching to go so I did.

The Subaru display is the best one they have ever had at the show.

I went last night. It's not worth your $8 unless you climb in and out of as many cars as possible. Also, you have to push every button and turn every knob. Take anything that's removable with you. Also, try and put a fat kid in the "back seat" of an Audi TT. It makes for a good time. Another good one is go sit in a car, fart, then get out and make sure you close it up. My friend did this atleast twice.

We're planning on going too. Don't think we'll have time until Sunday if at all. That might mean I'll have to wash the car for the 1st time since I bought it =). I should be finishin up tweeking on my car by then and if someone wants a ride or to check it out, meet up.

Nah, the reason the shift knobs are missing when you go there is cuz they already removed them so we wouldnt take them.

Honestly though, who feels bad about porking a major car manufacturer for a shift knob? I certainly dont.

Well I just got back from the auto show. I think I sat in every frickin SUV in the place, helping my friend decide what he wants to buy.

He narrowed it down to the Acura MDX I think thats what it's called and the GMC envoy. Then he tells me he only wants to spend 30k. I told him it's a no brainer buy the VDC outback.

We get back to his place he jumps in his Tahoe. He looks it over and says to me " Ya know Dave I'm thinking a coat of wax and a couple of new air fresheners and I'm good"

I get home tonite and the guys from the SVT club e-mail me saying they are going to the auto show tomorrow night and they will pick me up at 5:00 p.m...... I think I'll just hang out at the beer stand.

You'd think with my innate ability to stay awake for days at a time I'd have taken on a night-life that rivals those of legend, between bar-hopping and clubbing.. to all night raves and mardi gras like celebrations..

..but no, instead I've chosen to wither away talking to myself on some car bulletin board at 11 at night.. I still have an hour to kill and so many obligations to ignore!

A) I'm lazy..

C) I'm in Maine.. and..
D) I don't think clubbing is the best thing to do in 40 degree weather.. since its generally not conducive to nakedness in the streets..
