Default Gear Dependent Boost Trim

I wasn't able to find much info on this.
I am using the Hydra to control the boost w/ a Perrin EBCS.
The car has a road tune by Phil.
None of the gear boost trims have any values in them and I am seeing lower boost in 1st and 2nd as they are lower load gears.
Are the values in the gear boost trim fields always negative?

How to set the gear based compensation maps is in your user manual. You will first need to setup the gear ratios before you can use the boost trims. You will need to add duty to the lower gears and reduce duty in the higher gears.

Thanks,
Phil
