Default Over Boosting after vishnu reflash, ???

Anyone experience overboosting after Vishnu ecu reflash. I did the V350 reflash with pinks and VF34 however i have been boosting to 1.4 bar (19.5)psi.

I have a Bosal 2.5" divorced Downpipe and Vishnu advised I need to change downpipe to 3" Bellmouth to correct the overboost condition.

Has anyone had this experience as I would hate to buy a new downpipe and not solve the overboostong problem.

feedback please

I have recently gone to a vishnu reflash, not the stage 2 like you but the subzero...When I put the reflash in I had also changed out all of the hose's to the turbo and wastegate sensor...The hose's I replaced the OEM with were regular KRAGEN auto parts store vac hoses...they were larger then OEM, just by mm but larger non the less...this minor change was giving me 18.5 / 19 lbs of boost...I replaced those hose's with the spec sizes and everything is normal now...Hope this helps

Thanks for the feedback, I used all the hoses from the VF34 turbo and all other stock hoses with the boost solenoid. Vishnu claims the downpipe is the problem. I am very curious if anyone has seen boost levels fall due to a large diameter downpipe. A 3" downpipe will cost $300 + AND THIS IS A LOT IF IT DOES NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM

Dont have the subzero however their reflash is amazing in terms of power and throttle response. If I was not overboosting I would say the reflash is PERFECT

If you live near Vishnu I would suggest taking a drive over there and letting Shiv take a look at it. Most of the time it is the vacuum hoses (T or pill).

I live in Miami, I actually changed the DP and this did not fix the problem. I opened the diameter of the restrictor pill in the T hoses from the turbo and used a ABC from turbo XS to fine tune the boost.

Seems to be holding 17.5psi throughout the shifts now.

Thanks for the feedback
