Well I been having to much fun on street tires on dirt roads and I hit a big jump then landed and put all the weight on the front right tire and well I bent it about 7 inches open letting all the air out of my tire and forcing me to donut my car home....
This is the question. I have 3 good rims and a bent one. Should I bring them back for my 1.5 month vacation and order a new one and put them on when I leave for savannah. or Should I leave my 3 rims here and order a new one when I get back from vacation. -Neal btw: Jeremy, you right. I should stop driving so harsh. This is still a 17k car and it is not ment to get beat on like it is. I am just so agravated by classes that driving around is the only thing keeping me sane. I don't know. I am goign to stop driving like that. It is just to much fun and therupitic.

What codec are you using to encode these? I got the audio but no video out of it.

You used the Sorenson codec. If you open the movie in Quicktime 5 it should play back just fine. WOMM (worked on my machine)...
Looks like a cool place to play, I used to do the same kinda stuff , jumping subarus off road, but in an old 70-something $50 wagon... not a brand new car... ![]() |

Ah yes I got it to play in the evil quicktime 5. That's pretty nuts and probably not something I'd be doing in my new car
. Oh wait I have done that stuff in my car, look at Mike's who wants to go for a drive post. I took off the P1s before I went though for reasons above... That and just being smart about knowing how much your car can take will go a long way. I'm sure I could have gone nuts out and slammed my car into a tree or enbankment (which almost happened a couple of times anyways) but let's face it I'm not colin mcrae and I still need to drive my car to work on Monday ![]() |

I'm going to put in a vote for taking a mallet and seeing if you can pound it back into near alignment and filling it back up. As long as it isn't cracked there, you should be ok, I think.
BTW, if you save it as a real MPG, you won't have trouble with the format and the video will be 3x smaller. It's been a while since I've worked with video and I don't know what you're using, so I can't say how exactly, though. |

You should buy some Rotas and replace all 4. I just found out about these last week, $500 for a set of 17x7.5s is not bad.
There are pics on www.seriousauto.com , the Sub-Zeros are the wheels Gary Sheehan is using on the WRX touring car. |

I showed that video to some people, all said that they are going to find you and take the car away from you cause you dont deserve it to beat on it like that

Hey, if you're feeling lucky, there are places that can fix a rim like that for about $100. Don't ask me how I know.

Mallet to them....to fix it? No. Mallets are kinda a rare thing around the dorms
and that adventure only took me out 100 bucks for a rew rim and shipping from tri tuning. So I am not mad at all...-Neal |
