I heard from Rachel that the rain did pick up quite a bit after we left. Ann took her runs in the first heat since she's in a points battle and we left after that. Henry and I didn't even run. Hopefully things will be much better for the Subaru Challenge.

(Oh, and your not supposed to have someone holding a camera in the car while you run. Rules state only fixed mounts.)

Man, that layout looks nice. A lot less AutoX looking than I'm used too, are they normally like that when held at TMS?

Judging from the noise in the corners, did you have a 2lb dumbbell in the glove box or something?

That's the "officially approved" layout used when running on the road course at TMS. You have to jump through a lot more legal hoops when running on an actual track surface. We only run there once a year. Usually events held at TMS are outside the main complex in the "bus lot". I personally enjoy the bus lot events much more than the road coarse autocrosses. I just don't get very excited about 5 slaloms on a course.

since it was raining, I didnt have all kinds of dry gorund space to use... so the radar detector, tolltag, car charger, some tools, and some other crap got stuffed into the glovebox... good ear!

So Kevin what was your best time?

I was out there yesterday too and I improved every run with my best at 68.49 seconds in my underprepped (what an excuse) STU car. Then I threw it all away on my last run when I spun.

i only had two runs on the hurt engine, i got a 68 something as well, but i just did enough to win the class, no need to hurt the car further.

my buddy was with me and I said, "well you got these two jokers here in the camaros, a 68 should do it" (and it did by like 3.5 seconds)

probably coulda been down to a 65 or 64, i just took it easy yesterday

Nice, nice. My roommate got a 64 something in his RSX. Of course he has R-comps, but still that makes me feel slow. It takes me longer to figure out how to get the most out of a course than it does for him. Case in point: my first run was a 74 and his first was a 66.

Yeah, I definitely improved my time and learned where I could carry speed and where I couldn't, lol. I can hardly wait to see how Ohlins struts, RCE springs, and some negative camber will treat me.
