Subaru has never published a "Timing Map" for any of the vehicles. One reason being that the ECU learns as you drive and so it continually adjusts the "Map" and would only be accurate for a cleared ECU.

If you don't have a TEC-II, our map files won't do you any good. They aren't exactly in ASCII.

Timing for a NA EJ25 is a Constant, the fuel map would be the veritable. if you have 16? of timing at 1500 RPM thats 15? from 0. So if I could get a timing map down then that would gine me a place to start. Let me see a TEC II timeing map for a NA EJ25 it might just help, right now I got nothing. Thanks

You can get the timing by hooking up a OBD-II scanner. I think I saw timing advance from 10 degree at idle to about 40 degree at 3000rpm or higher last time I have a OBD-II scanner connected to my car. Too bad I haven't got my OBD-II scanner to work with my new laptop, which has no serial port. Maybe someone with a OBD-II can get a more accurate reading for you.

Timing varies widely, depending on RPM and load. IE, you could have 10 degrees at 2500 rpm and high load, and 35 degrees at 2500 rpm with low engine load.
