HID headlights question

Does anyone know what HID bulb fits the 2005 wrx? Is it h1 for the low beams? any help is appreciated

Yep, H1 bulbs are stock on 04/05 WRX's, as opposed to the bugeyes (H7, I think?). The H1 HID kits are what you should look for.

speaking of HIDs are they easy to install? im gonna be getting some like sometime next week and just wanted to see how hard they were

Yeah, just plug and play for the most part. Especially on the newer vehicles.

you should buy these! I bought Gene's old set, becuase he was upgrading to these. The ones I bought (many of you will testify) look great, have a perfect white beam pattern, and were super-easy to install (since we were swapping parts back and forth between our 04's). So, this kit should be even nicer!

Just finished installing mine on the legacy. 2 hours tops!

Love the look, now I want to do my high beams and fogs :-)

If they were H3's I would've bought them for my foglights. His asking price is decent and Philips is known for their quality. 4300K is what you see on the BMWs, EVOS, STi's, etc.

well i picked up some h1 6000k hopefully it will be pretty easy to do, thanks for the input guys
