Default WTB: Winter beater on teh cheap (NH northern MA)

NESIC'ers, I'm looking for el cheapo winter beater. Anyone know / see one around? Have a family member with one lying around? Let me know if you do. Suppose my requirements are, but not limited to:

FWD
4 doors
auto tranny
has heat
be able to pass NH inspection
carry 2 children in car seats

I'm thinking accord / civic/ sentra / camry / protege / ???

If you can't find me one of these cars, but can think of another option, lemme know.
I live just over the border in NH so try to keep it local.

in addition to what paul said my emphasis is on cheap. Generally, the cheaper (reliable) cars are FWD

Too bad my parents just parted with a 1994 Buick LeSabre that is a very reliable with a great 3.8L motor...

Personally I would look into GM cars with the 3.8L engine, they are worthless used compared to your interests and relatively reliable and cheap to fix.

what's so funny about that? That mean no miatas or mr2's. Plus since children would be in the car, I'd like it safe.
