Default Switching Oils Often Bad?

Well is says it all in the subject, is it bad to switch between synthetic in the winter and dino in the summer. I would think it wouldn't be bad, but ya never know. My car burns a quart every 1000 miles synthetic or not.

You can switch back and forth without a problem.

If you are burning a quart every 1000 miles, I would take it to a dealer. Tony here on the board has had the same problem with his car for quite a while. Long story short, SoA is going to fix his problem, which appears to be a cracked head. Not saying you have a cracked head, but I would be bitching about it burning so much oil!
