Default Intercooler Nitrous Spray

I am really interested in adding a nitrous system to my 06 wrx. I found this one kit called the N-tercooler Intercooler chiller that instead of spraying water on the intercooler it sprays Nitrous. Has anyone had any experience with this setup in terms of how affective it is and reliability. Would this be something that the car has to be tuned for? Can this be used with a top mount intercooler?

Here is a link to where I found it: http://www.fastwrx.com/nterinchil.html

I don't think I would waste my money on spraying nitrous into the air. You can get kits to spray CO2 onto the intercooler and get the same results at about 1/10 the cost.

If i rebmer right they add someting like 10-20 hp I saw an article in a major car magazine and they do work. I think 50hp is a joke unless you are in 120 degree weather and have over 600hp

The NX kit can spray CO2 as well as nitrous. Its really up to you which to use. CO2 is cheaper in most cases.

No, you dont have to tune. Yes, it can be used on a TMIC.

Most say that it isnt too useful, but it helps create a tad of power. Especially in very hot conditions involving heat soak. I wouldnt pay full price for a kit. Used ones can be had for a decent price.

Alot of times it is cheaper to buy a solenoid, the lines, switch, nozzle and bottle. Be creative, and make your own kit. The kits are overly expensive.

i also agree i made my own kit. just piece together silenoids bottle and make the ring outa whatever tubing you can get. my buddy works at a hydrolics shop he made the ring for free and it looks bought. plust he ran hardline instead of having a hose ran under the car. and to add to the ricer factor i had to hook up a perge coming out the hood scoop. only cause i got two silenoids and the bottle for 50 bucks.

also co2 does work good but the nitrous freezes the intercooler more than co2. same temp but more freezing action with nitrous.
