Question Used STI/WRX exhaust?

Hello, new to nasioc and just bought an '06 2.5i recently and found out that the rear muffler section from any WRX/STI should bolt up to my car. If so does anybody have a stock rear section for sale?

If no one on here has one, check the main nasioc classifieds.

Heh, some people on there want $200 for the stock exhaust. I sold mine for $50.00 bucks and I beleive Jerry has a few laying around for that price.

Hey Jerry I need to buy a stock cat back off of you. Preferably a single tip one.

Talking Thanks!

Thanks for all the quick replies(sp?) yesterday. I bought Kyle's stock STI exhaust and am glad to report that it fit like a glove. The exhaust note isn't really any louder at all and it has a nice, boomy resonance at 1500 rpm when downshifting but it is definitely deeper at idle-hard to explain but I am very happy with it! Anyone who owns a 2.5i can bolt on the axleback for an STI or WRX as long as its a 2.5 block,it seems. I hope this helps others and remember-the car itself is only the beginning, lol.

Agreed. While I can't do the catback, I could use an STi axleback. I'll have to check yours out sometime.

Hmm..sounds kinda fishy. I thought all 02-06 WRX/STi turbobacks were interchangeable?

Default 2.5rs Difference?

After the meeting at Fu Do sunday A.J.(darned if i can remember his handle here) came over to my house to see if we could get the other bolt on his STI muffler-he has an '05 2.5rs and it looks like it has a different flange and pipe diameter so anyone looking to swap out should look closely before buying, just to be sure.
