I live in seattle, in the U district... about a month ago my car got hit on its right front fender by a psycho road raging WAPCE bitch (on purpose) and today I finally got a check from her insurance company.
Now I have to find a body shop, so I was just wondering if any of you guys have had any good/bad experiences with any shops in the seattle area. I am considering "moore's" on 140th and aurora just because the insurance company partners with them and it would be easy, but I'd love to take it somewhere else if they specialize in subarus or have a good record with people here. Thanks ![]()

I can tell you where NOT to go, and that's the Collision 1 in Northgate. My gf got T-boned, and while they fixed it, they failed to noticed and replace the pin striping on the car (we ended up just having them take it off the unbroken side) and they put a crack in the backseat armrest and did some ****ty glue job to try and hide it.

I've had good experiences with Haury's Collision on 115th and Lake City Way. I had them paint a brand new bumper cover that I'd bought from Jamie (Subaru Genuine Parts.com shameless plug).
The bumper cover needs a lot of masking before paint and those guys did a flawless job. No blemishes and a perfect color match too. Chad "RockBlocker" even mentioned they did a very impressive job and it was way better than the guys that did his bumper. If you're looking to save some money, then Haury's is not the place to go. It's a little more expensive because of the great work they do. But I had no problem paying out of pocket to have it done right the first time. |

Go to Metro Auto-rebuild in Capitol Hill. Phil Smart Mercedes and BMW of Seattle send all their work there. Don't be surprised if you see a bunch of expensive cars in their bay. If it goes over the budget, her insurance company should cover unless they have the case closed.
What is a road-raging "WAPCE" bitch? I don't know the "WAPCE" part means. |

I 2nd for Metro in capital hill. I have been friends with the owner for about 8 years now. They did my rear quarter after my car was involved in a hit and run in a parking lot. About $4000 later, I had a new right rear quarter. The work and customer service was great.
