Winter wheel Question

I have a bit of a problem. I'm currently using 17x7 buddy clubs that clear my upgraded front brakes. What are my options as far as a winter wheel purchase. I've looked at a few threads on this site and its obvious that stock ones dont. Will 16x7 steelies work? or maybe even 17x7 steelies. Or should i just thug it out and put winter wheels on my buddy clubs

What calipers are they? There are some 16x6.5 steelies that fit over the Subaru 4-pots.
