i'm tryin to compile a dream list of everything that i want to do to my car...

gimme some help, so far i have

new hood--custom body work

new rear brakes/front brakes

new wheels/tires

jspec engine swap or turbo the 2.2L

ver 6 bumper/wrx lip

manual tranny

upgraded suspension

remove roof rack

custom cai

straight through exhaust

paint calipers

perhaps the word 'dream' was a bad word to use

this is stuff that i'm eventually actually gonna get...

but the racing seats aren't a bad idea... same w/ a roll cage, however that'll require massive interior stripping

You could just buy an RS and put a turbo on for as much as you are going to spend converting it to manual and swapping the motor.

Oh, it's not a dream after all eh? OK, the roll cage, seats and harnesses stay on my "really gonna happen soon list". I'll have to keep my OEM 4pots, AGX susp and settle for headers(the brullen will be installed ASAP) & cams to get power unless someone comes up with CARB approved turbo or s/c kit.

BTW - If you put a cage in, you won't need no stinkin strut tower bars.

No, but you'll have to drive around with a helmet on. I wouldn't recommend a cage for a street driven car. Too dangerous.

hey.

everyone has a dream list. It doesn't matter if you're young or old. It's what one wants and what one likes. Yes, i don't have the Impreza yet, but i can still have a dream list. Other Impreza owners have a mods dream list like nomadtw. My dreams list is to build the monster Impreza.

nomadtw has a dream list. I have a dream. What diiference does it make. The point is that no-one can change no ones dream list. i can have a big dream list and you can flame it all you want but, that dream list will come true when ever.

So my advice is, keep the flaming down a bit because it doesn't only effect me, it also effects other eople who have a dream list.

Yea, agreed....lay off the flames lest this thread gets the lock.

Even before I had my Subaru I was thinking turbo, and already had the hookup on then Minnam Racing's prototype turbokit (they wrecked their OBS it was fitted on). So yea, nothing wrong with dreams. And I eventually did get a turbokit on my car, sold it too.

It may or may not come true...what's the big deal...it's not like he's saying he's going to drop in a Ferrari engine into an Impreza.
